How it all started...

My name is Marcia. I´m a Licensed Nutritionist and Health Coach, I established Mindfood in 2017 and my dream was to create 100% natural products to treat digestive and inflammatory issues, without ANY chemicals or drugs.

Mindfood was developed in Peninsula of Nicoya, Costa Rica, one of the five blues zones in the world, where a high number of people live much longer than average, as a result of a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating habits and cultural values.

Couple of years ago Eduardo, my partner, was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and he decided to avoid steroids and other medication and he started a healing process through nutrition, lifestyle and natural medicine. Within this process, since he is a Medical Doctor, we started working together to create a product based on the roots of turmeric. After a long research, and hard work we created Turmeric-Gut, which is 100% pure and concentrated cold-pressed turmeric juice without any preservatives or additives, so the medicinal properties of the root remain intact.

Once he started using Turmeric-gut, his symptoms began to disappear and within the next 3 months he went into remission, thanks to the amazing properties of this sacred and millenary root.

Throughout our adventures in life we found ourselves in Colorado, and fell in love with this amazing place, it’s nature and it's beautiful people. In 2021 with the help of Victor, resident of Colorado Springs and family, we were inspired to bring our product Turmeric-Gut to this region of the world, Colorado Springs.

Turmeric Gut is now produced, bottled and distributed by Mindfood LLC, in Colorado Springs and hopefully after a short period of time we can contribute to this beautiful city creating jobs and opportunities but also bringing relief and happiness to it’s people.
